Gillian's Kitchen

Kitchens

The kitchen formed part of a total ‘freshen up’ of this Victorian terrace house.

The client wanted to retain many of the fixtures and fittings but was happy to make changes that would enhance the appearance of the interior.

The units were redecorated and the worktop changed from a worn solid wood work surface to a more durable granite top.  The island and matching dresser were treated with a stain and varnish to darken their appearance so as to tie in with the new durable laminate floor that was installed replacing the damaged oak veneered flooring.

New satin chrome ironmongery was also introduced used to add a twinkle in lieu of the dulled brass.

The whole room was redecorated with fresh cleaner colours and the blue wall was retained but toned down compliment the rest of the scheme.
